Bayonet connections provide a slip together joint used for easy field assembly of vacuum jacketed pipe sections. The male and female design provides a long heat path from the outer jacket to the inner pipe. The seal at the end of the male bayonet and the O-ring seal at the flange make this a pressure tight connection. Acme Cryogenic's offers a unique bayonet connection that provides a superior mechanical joint for vacuum jacketed piping sections.
