Donaldson® PG-EG sanitary steam filter housings are designed for purification of industrial and culinary steam in the food and beverage, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, chemical and electronics industries. PG-EG single round filter housings are equipped with sanitary Tri-Clamp® connections and are 3-A stamped and certified. The top vent is sealed with a pharma plug, while the bottom condensate drain is equipped with a pharma valve. The inner surface finish is electro polished to Ra 32. PG-EG filter housings are designed to yield low differential pressures at high flow rates. Our multi-round housings are nitric passivated to Ra 32 and come standard with ANSI flange connections.
