Applications Ultima is designed for use in rotary screw and vanecompressors. It is based on a very thermally andoxidatively stable polyol ester blend. Under normal operatingconditions you can expect to obtain well over 8000 hours oflubricant life. It was formulated to be less likely toform varnish under high temperature applications and to be moreresistant to acidic intake air than are polyalkylene glycolcoolants.
