Toshiba's totally enclosed fan cooled, EQP Global 840 motor series is designed to meet most of the 841 specification as a cost-effective alternative. The robust design and premium construction extend operating life and aim to minimize maintenance and downtime. The EQP Global 840 series is equipped with a range of enhanced features, including a double shaft sealed arrangement for 324-365T frames and labyrinth seals on both ends for frames 404T and above, which provide an IP56 rating that protects against moisture and contaminants entering the enclosure. The complete heavy-duty cast-iron construction makes it a preferred choice for severe environments. Oversized 300 series bearings on both ends enhance the bearing life and make it suitable for direct couple or belt drive systems. In addition, the low operating temperatures contribute to extending the insulation's durability and overall life. Manufactured with a commitment to quality, the EQP Global 840 series delivers exceptional performance and reliability in demanding applications.
